Greg Long (CA, USA) (pictured), the youngest competitor (20 yrs) in the Red Bull BWA negotiates a heavy take off on a huge wave at Dungeons in Cape Town, South Africa today. Long showed fearless commitment during the second practice session of the contest in solid 12-15ft waves
The fifth edition of Red Bull Big Wave Africa, the continent’s most extreme surfing event, features a select group of 16 South African and international big wave surfers and is staged at Dungeons, a deep water reef at the mouth of Hout Bay on the Cape Peninsula, on any day that the swell exceeds 15 foot (5metres) between June 2 - 22, 2003
