Two years after his first attempt, Yannick Bestaven has made an exploit by winning the Transat 650 Charente Maritime Bahia by finishing first in both legs.

Yannick Bestaven arrivé à Salvador de Bahia / J.Vapillon
In 1999, he finished 12th of the Mini-Transat at the helm of a Rolland design, Ares Diffusion. For this edition of the Mini, he built with his friend Arnaud Boissières a full carbon Magnen/Nivelt design. Thanks to aquarelle.com, he was able to enter in the race. At 28 yo, the young skipper from Arcachon now enters in the great club of winners of the Mini.

August 2010 was rich in events and performances. Many SeaSailSurfers made great performances. We will however retain Bertrand Delesne’s run in the second leg of race to the Azores. On his mini, he covered 304,90 miles in 24 hours. He is SeaSailSurfer of the month !
