Winner of the Generali Méditerranée

The SeaSailSurfer dof June 2002 is Jérémie Béyou, the winner of the Generali Méditerranée 2002.
In 2001, he did finished second of this race by winning three races. This year, he takes it in front of Éric Drouglazet and Erwan Tabarly by winning two of the fourteen races. This is his first big win and he takes, by the same time, the leadership of the ’championnat de France des Solitaires’, Solo French championship.
Jérémi, 26 yo, born in Brittany, has entered in the Figaro One-Design circuit in ’97 for the first time. This summer, it will be his sixth participation in the solo race and he will be at the top of the list of possible winners.

On said kitesurfing is not sailing. Other said the Luderitz Speed Challenge’ spot is not deep enough. But the channel in Namibia is a fixed place with 500 meters marks and is more than 80 cm deep. August 2010 was rich in events and performances. Many SeaSailSurfers made great performances. We will however retain Bertrand Delesne’s run in the second leg of race to the Azores. On his mini, he covered 304,90 miles in 24 hours. He is SeaSailSurfer of the month !

La course au large sourit aux « seniors » pendant ce mois de mai. S’ils sont encore loin de l’âge canonique de Sir Robin Knox Johnston ou de Tony Bullimore, Loïck Peyron, 48 ans, et Jean-Paul Mouren, 55 ans, ont rappelé aux jeunes loups de la course au large que l’expérience payait. PRB à bon port en bon état à Halifax
