Rookie and surfing world champ

For the first time in the ASP World tour, a rookie has won the championship. Stephanie Gilmore, 19 yo, wins the 2007 ranking ahead of Peruvian Sofia Mulanovich and Silvana Lima from Brazil.

The SeaSailSurfer of the month got 19s one month ago. Bornt in La Réunion, Indian ocean, he entered this year in the ASP World Tour and competes with big stars of surfing like Slater, Fanning, Burrow…
From the start of the pro series, Jeremy Flores showed he was ready to compete with the best surfers of the word. In the second event, the famous Rip Curl Pro at Bells Beach, he went toward the third series. One month later, in Tahiti, he finished in the 4rth series, defeating no one else than Kelly Slater before being beaten by Damien Hobgood furure winner ogf the event !

On said kitesurfing is not sailing. Other said the Luderitz Speed Challenge’ spot is not deep enough. But the channel in Namibia is a fixed place with 500 meters marks and is more than 80 cm deep. Russell Coutts, the boss of the american Defender, BMW Oracle Racing, has made younger the older sport trophy of the world. As the competition will be sailed aboard wingsailed catamarans, he made the trophy, and sport sailing competition, entering the third millenary. He is the SeaSailSurfer of the month. -

August 2010 was rich in events and performances. Many SeaSailSurfers made great performances. We will however retain Bertrand Delesne’s run in the second leg of race to the Azores. On his mini, he covered 304,90 miles in 24 hours. He is SeaSailSurfer of the month !

Et comme tout ce qui est nouveau, cela attire les frenchies qui ne se sont pas fait prier pour remporter l’épreuve mexicaine chez les hommes comme chez les femmes. -

Playa Central Beach Club in La Ventana, Baja California Sur, México hosted the first tour stop of the new hydrofoil kiteboarding circuit called KiteFoil GoldCup, bringing in the top competitors from 11 different nationalities mainly coming from France and lots of top contenders from the San Francisco bay area. -

Elle fut aussi intense et complexe qu’une belle étape de La Solitaire du Figaro ! Cette Solo Maître CoQ s’est jouée au coude à coude tout au long de ces presque deux jours de course. Sans vent et dans la brise, au portant comme au près, Jérémie Beyou (Maître CoQ) a bataillé sans relâche et sans dormir pour finalement l’emporter ce samedi matin (…)
