On December 3rd, Michel Desjoyeaux wasback in the top 10 of the Vendée Globe, 3 weeks after his second start from Les Sables d’Olonne. At the end of the month, he is the leader. Mich’Desj is the SeaSailSurfer of December.

Russell Coutts, the boss of the american Defender, BMW Oracle Racing, has made younger the older sport trophy of the world. As the competition will be sailed aboard wingsailed catamarans, he made the trophy, and sport sailing competition, entering the third millenary. He is the SeaSailSurfer of the month.

August 2010 was rich in events and performances. Many SeaSailSurfers made great performances. We will however retain Bertrand Delesne’s run in the second leg of race to the Azores. On his mini, he covered 304,90 miles in 24 hours. He is SeaSailSurfer of the month !

Despite huge waves and a promising forecast the PWA wave final held in Brandon Bay, on the west coast of Ireland failed to deliver a result. This means that 26-year-old Californian sailor, Kevin Pritchard (Gaastra, Bic) has added this years PWA overall wave title to his constantly growing list of windsurfing achievements.

Le défi suisse d’Ernesto Bertarelli vient de terminer à la seconde place du premier round robin de la Louis Vuitton Cup. Barré par Russell Coutts, vainqueur des deux dernières éditions de la Coupe de l’America, le voilier suisse n’a été battu que par celui du syndicat OneWorld, le challenger américain qui, lui, n’a perdu aucune régate.

La liste officielle des inscrits à la Route du Rhum 2002 a été présentée jeudi dernier. Mais tous les concurrents n’ont pas encore obtenu leur ticket d’entrée puisqu’ils n’ont pas accompli leur qualification. Le premier d’entre eux est Michel Desjoyeaux, le skipper du trimaran Géant.
