On December 3rd, Michel Desjoyeaux wasback in the top 10 of the Vendée Globe, 3 weeks after his second start from Les Sables d’Olonne. At the end of the month, he is the leader. Mich’Desj is the SeaSailSurfer of December.

As the competition will be sailed aboard wingsailed catamarans, he made the trophy, and sport sailing competition, entering the third millenary. He is the SeaSailSurfer of the month.

August 2010 was rich in events and performances. Many SeaSailSurfers made great performances. We will however retain Bertrand Delesne’s run in the second leg of race to the Azores. On his mini, he covered 304,90 miles in 24 hours. He is SeaSailSurfer of the month !

Following a positive forecast for today, Tuesday, judges had high hopes of finally kicking off The Irish Wave Grand Prix, which is presented by Bord Fáilte. It had been expected that if winds reached a predicted force 4 in a south/ southwesterly direction, the final leg of the Wave World Tour would go ahead today. However, it just wasn’t to be.

Les concurrents de la Route du Ponant ont quitté l’île anglo-normande de Guernesey ce matin. Sous le soleil, par un vent de Sud Sud-Est de 10 nœuds, ils ont coupé la ligne de départ de la seconde partie de la Grande Course à 9h50 s’élançant ainsi pour un parcours long de 294 milles qui les mènera à Port La vie en Vendée.

Seul le troisième des quatre match-races du jour a pu être terminé dans la baie d’Hauraki. Tout comme la veille, le petit temps a régné à Auckland. Ce seront donc deux matchs de la cinquième série et trois de cette sixième série du premier round robin qui sont repoussés aux jours de réserve.
