SeaSailSurfer of August 2009 : Lux, Geyer-Barneix and Manciet
Three Paddle board girls of the Atlantic : Alexandra Lux, Stéphanie Geyer-Barneix and Flora Manciet are three paddle board girls. This summer, they have crossed the Atlantic from Cape Breton to CapBreton in south-west of France. And they made the exploit in 53 days only.
August was charged in high level events. Initially, there was the band of Bidégorry which made an Atlantic crossing express aboard the 40 meters long trimaran Banque Populaire V. There also was the superb victory of Nicolas Lunven over the legendary Solitaire du Figaro.
But the SeaSailSurf’ girls of this month are quite different of these sporting events. Their performance holds more adventure of the extreme with a crossing of the Atlantic out of relay to three on board a board of rescue. With knees, with the force of the arms, they are joined the island of Cape Breton in CapBreton in 53 days. It is well the exploit of the month !

On said kitesurfing is not sailing. Other said the Luderitz Speed Challenge’ spot is not deep enough. But the channel in Namibia is a fixed place with 500 meters marks and is more than 80 cm deep. When kitesurfers and windsurfers sail there, there are truly in the spirit of the original Weymouth and Brest Speed Weekds. Their records are not (…)
