Tanguy de Lamotte belongs to those who believed in Class40 from the beginning. He is rewarded for his efforts since he won, with Adrien Hardy, the first edition of the Solidaire du Chocolat.

Winner of the Mini-Pavois and Chrono 650
The mini circuit makes the offshore sailors of the next years. A new generation appears from 2008 whith Thomas Ruyant at the head. Behind the skipper of past Isabelle Joschke’s prototype, the mini class makes discover more and more sailors under 25 yo. In the serie division, the one to follow is Davy Beaudart.
Age of 24, Davy from Hennebont, close to Lorient in Brittany, sails in the Mini Class from 5 years. He first sailed at the helm of a Pogo. He was qualified for the previous Transat 650 but decided not to compete. His Pogo was not fast enough and he had not enough experience. Now he steers a Pogo 2 of the new generation and cumulated goods results. In 2008 he won the solo Trophée MAP and this month, he took the Mini-Pavois and Chrono 650. A young guy to follow in the Transat 650 in september. And he is the SeaSailSurfer of the month.

Thomas Ruyant is the SeaSailSurfer of 2010
689 votes made the SeaSailsurfers of 2010. The male winner is Thomas Ruyant, winner of the Route du Rhum in Class40. He did it one year after his win in the solo Transat 650. And he is so popular he wins the title of SeaSailSurfer of the year ahead of the funboarder Antoine Albeau (Sailor of the year for the french federation) and ahead of (…) -

Jeremy Flores has won the Billabong Pipe Master, the last event of the 2010 ASP World Tour. Defaiting Kelly Slater in the semis, is the first European surfer to win this great event, the first french to win an event in the ASP circuit. He is the SeaSailSurfer of December. -

On said kitesurfing is not sailing. Other said the Luderitz Speed Challenge’ spot is not deep enough. But the channel in Namibia is a fixed place with 500 meters marks and is more than 80 cm deep. Russell Coutts, the boss of the american Defender, BMW Oracle Racing, has made younger the older sport trophy of the world. As the competition will be sailed aboard wingsailed catamarans, he made the trophy, and sport sailing competition, entering the third millenary. He is the SeaSailSurfer of the month. -

SeaSailSurfer of August 2010 : Bertrand Delesne
August 2010 was rich in events and performances. Many SeaSailSurfers made great performances. We will however retain Bertrand Delesne’s run in the second leg of race to the Azores. On his mini, he covered 304,90 miles in 24 hours. He is SeaSailSurfer of the month !

La deuxième étape de la course Les Sables-Madère-Les Sables s’est achevée par un finish digne d’un sprint puisque les trois premiers Class’40 sont arrivés avec moins de vingt minutes d’écart ! Benoît Parnaudeau s’impose d’un cheveu devant Cécile Poujol et Jean-Pierre-Amblard, mais surtout ces trois équipages peuvent mettre en péril la première (…) -

Benoît Lequin et Pierre-Yves Moreau ont eu un projet fou : celui de battre le record de la traversée de l’Atlantique en catamaran de sport de 20’ maxi. Les Alizés portugais ont le don de nettoyer le ciel lusitanien de tous les nuages et le défaut d’enfler parfois au-delà du raisonnable. Le Blévec et Debled s’offrent un nouveau Chrono lorientais
La sixième édition de la Chrono 650 s’est achevée à 14 heures quand la ligne d’arrivée située devant Larmor-Plage a été fermée laissant aux skippers de minis 6.50 le temps de boucler une tour de l’île de Groix dans la journée. Au classement cumulé sur les trois jours du week-end lorientais, ce sont Yves Le Blévec (Actual Intérim) et Antoine (…) -

Yves Le Blévec et Jean-Claude Guillonneau meilleurs chronos du jour
Il n’y aura pas eu de record de battu au cours de cette deuxième journée de la Chrono 650. Le petit temps qui a régné autour de l’île de Groix n’a pas permis d’effectuer de temps exceptionnels mais l’enjeu était de cumuler au moins un temps de référence pour que chaque mini 650 engagé sur la course puisse être classé. Quant aux deux références (…) -

Yves Le Blévec et Francisco Lobato établissent 2 nouveaux records
Grande et belle journée autour de l’île de Groix pour la sixième édition de la Chrono 650. La course contre la montre au départ de la base des Défis à Lorient – Kéroman accueille ce week-end la course réservée aux voiliers de la Classe Mini. Dès le premier jour, les deux records absolus, en prototype et en série ont été battus !
