Tanguy de Lamotte belongs to those who believed in Class40 from the beginning. He is rewarded for his efforts since he won, with Adrien Hardy, the first edition of the Solidaire du Chocolat.

Winner of the Mini-Pavois and Chrono 650
The mini circuit makes the offshore sailors of the next years. A new generation appears from 2008 whith Thomas Ruyant at the head. Behind the skipper of past Isabelle Joschke’s prototype, the mini class makes discover more and more sailors under 25 yo. In the serie division, the one to follow is Davy Beaudart.
Age of 24, Davy from Hennebont, close to Lorient in Brittany, sails in the Mini Class from 5 years. He first sailed at the helm of a Pogo. He was qualified for the previous Transat 650 but decided not to compete. His Pogo was not fast enough and he had not enough experience. Now he steers a Pogo 2 of the new generation and cumulated goods results. In 2008 he won the solo Trophée MAP and this month, he took the Mini-Pavois and Chrono 650. A young guy to follow in the Transat 650 in september. And he is the SeaSailSurfer of the month.

On said kitesurfing is not sailing. Other said the Luderitz Speed Challenge’ spot is not deep enough. But the channel in Namibia is a fixed place with 500 meters marks and is more than 80 cm deep. Russell Coutts, the boss of the american Defender, BMW Oracle Racing, has made younger the older sport trophy of the world. As the competition will be sailed aboard wingsailed catamarans, he made the trophy, and sport sailing competition, entering the third millenary. He is the SeaSailSurfer of the month.

August 2010 was rich in events and performances. Many SeaSailSurfers made great performances. We will however retain Bertrand Delesne’s run in the second leg of race to the Azores. On his mini, he covered 304,90 miles in 24 hours. He is SeaSailSurfer of the month !

Armel Le Cléac’h, le skipper du Figaro-Bénéteau Créaline, tout juste sacré champion de France de course au large en solitaire, retrouve son double aujourd’hui à Saint Nazaire. Nicolas Troussel, avec qui il a terminé deuxième de la première édition du Trophée BPE, le suit dans cette nouvelle aventure à destination de l’Afrique.

Le skipper du mini 650 All Mer a pris la quatrième place de la première étape de la Transat 650. Il est arrivé à Lanzarote à 5 heures 53 minutes et 37 secondes, heure française, vendredi matin. Soit sept heures et quart derrière le vainqueur Sam Manuard. Mais Fred Duthil est content, d’autant que son début de course a été "catastrophique".

Les travaux de Diane et Ronan Gélébart n’ont pas été ralentis pas la canicule cet été. Mais le jeune couple breton avoue quand même quelques soucis avec la vitesse de polymérisation de la résine… Pas grave, la construction du Banjo se poursuit… en même temps que leur maison et que leur bébé grandit !

Les arrivées se sont succédées dans la nuit dans la marina de Puerto Calero à Lanzarote. Mais Sam Manaurd a creusé un sacré écart avec edux heures d’avance sur Mc Kee et six sur Tripon.
