Tanguy de Lamotte belongs to those who believed in Class40 from the beginning. He is rewarded for his efforts since he won, with Adrien Hardy, the first edition of the Solidaire du Chocolat.
The mini circuit makes the offshore sailors of the next years. A new generation appears from 2008 whith Thomas Ruyant at the head. Behind the skipper of past Isabelle Joschke’s prototype, the mini class makes discover more and more sailors under 25 yo. In the serie division, the one to follow is Davy Beaudart.
Age of 24, Davy from Hennebont, close to Lorient in Brittany, sails in the Mini Class from 5 years. He first sailed at the helm of a Pogo. He was qualified for the previous Transat 650 but decided not to compete. His Pogo was not fast enough and he had not enough experience. Now he steers a Pogo 2 of the new generation and cumulated goods results. In 2008 he won the solo Trophée MAP and this month, he took the Mini-Pavois and Chrono 650. A young guy to follow in the Transat 650 in september. And he is the SeaSailSurfer of the month.

Jeremy Flores has won the Billabong Pipe Master, the last event of the 2010 ASP World Tour. Defaiting Kelly Slater in the semis, is the first European surfer to win this great event, the first french to win an event in the ASP circuit. He is the SeaSailSurfer of December.

On said kitesurfing is not sailing. Other said the Luderitz Speed Challenge’ spot is not deep enough. But the channel in Namibia is a fixed place with 500 meters marks and is more than 80 cm deep. Russell Coutts, the boss of the american Defender, BMW Oracle Racing, has made younger the older sport trophy of the world. As the competition will be sailed aboard wingsailed catamarans, he made the trophy, and sport sailing competition, entering the third millenary. He is the SeaSailSurfer of the month.
August 2010 was rich in events and performances. Many SeaSailSurfers made great performances. We will however retain Bertrand Delesne’s run in the second leg of race to the Azores. On his mini, he covered 304,90 miles in 24 hours. He is SeaSailSurfer of the month !
