The young sailor from Normandy was chosen by breton Armel Le Cléac’h (past winner of the Figaro solo race and second of the last Vendée Globe) to be his partner in the two-handed race from Concarneau to St Barthélemy. Good choice ! For his first transatlantic, Fabien Delahaye who had never spent more than 8 days on a boat, has won the Transat AG2R. He is the SeaSailSurfer of the month.

On said kitesurfing is not sailing. Other said the Luderitz Speed Challenge’ spot is not deep enough. But the channel in Namibia is a fixed place with 500 meters marks and is more than 80 cm deep. Russell Coutts, the boss of the american Defender, BMW Oracle Racing, has made younger the older sport trophy of the world. As the competition will be sailed aboard wingsailed catamarans, he made the trophy, and sport sailing competition, entering the third millenary. He is the SeaSailSurfer of the month. -

SeaSailSurfer of August 2010 : Bertrand Delesne
August 2010 was rich in events and performances. Many SeaSailSurfers made great performances. We will however retain Bertrand Delesne’s run in the second leg of race to the Azores. On his mini, he covered 304,90 miles in 24 hours. He is SeaSailSurfer of the month !

Corentin Douguet et Axel Tréhin ont remporté la Rolex Fastnet Race 2025 en Class40 à bord de Faites un don sur SNSM.org, au terme de 700 milles de régate particulièrement disputée. Rolex Fastnet Race : Les honneurs de la ligne pour l’équipage de Tom Laperche
Le trimaran SVR–Lazartigue, mené par Tom Laperche, a franchi le premier la ligne d’arrivée de la Rolex Fastnet Race ce lundi à 5h38 du matin à Cherbourg-en-Cotentin, remportant ainsi le Line Honour Multicoque, distinction réservée au premier multicoque à boucler le parcours. À l’issue d’une course haletante, le Maxi Banque Populaire XI a franchi la ligne d’arrivée ce lundi au petit matin à 6h23. Après 1 jour, 18 heures et 3 minutes de course, l’équipage autour d’Armel Le Cléac’h termine à 45 minutes du vainqueur (SVR-Lazartigue).
