For his 12th year Anniversary, the KPWT had a great season with the arrival of new kiteboarding stars. Congratulations to the new 2010 KPWT Overall World Champion, Antoine Auriol from France (Freestyle and Wave).
Antoine is the most talented and respectable rider in the kiteboarding world. This is his First World title. Now he’s an iconic global kiteboarding star, one of the best kiteboarder in the history of his sport and he became a KPWT World Champion forever !

For me, every year has been fantastic, and I have seen along the years the evolution of kitesurfing. Kitefoil World Series Italy reached a crescendo of drama as the top 10 men and women contested the new Medal Series format in the south of Sardinia. Ultimately the pre-event favourites, Max Maeder and Lauriane Nolot, prevailed to win gold in the men’s and women’s events, although there were plenty of twists and turns along the way.
