On December 3rd, Michel Desjoyeaux wasback in the top 10 of the Vendée Globe, 3 weeks after his second start from Les Sables d’Olonne. At the end of the month, he is the leader. Mich’Desj is the SeaSailSurfer of December.
Double winner of the women worlds match-racing title : On April 6th, Claire Leroy and Marie Riou, Elodie Bertrand and Claire Pruvot won the women match-racing world title in New Zealand. For the second time in two years. She is the SeaSailSurfer of April 2008.
Breton sailor is used with podiums. Last year she won both world and european titles. She was also named Rolex Sailor of the World by the ISAF. This year she looks to be on the same course with a new world title. And she is ready for more as, after her world title, she said « we are waiting for the ISAF to know if women match-racing will be in the Olympic Games in 2012. If yes, it will become my main objective. » We hope so.

Russell Coutts, the boss of the american Defender, BMW Oracle Racing, has made younger the older sport trophy of the world. As the competition will be sailed aboard wingsailed catamarans, he made the trophy, and sport sailing competition, entering the third millenary. He is the SeaSailSurfer of the month.
August 2010 was rich in events and performances. Many SeaSailSurfers made great performances. We will however retain Bertrand Delesne’s run in the second leg of race to the Azores. On his mini, he covered 304,90 miles in 24 hours. He is SeaSailSurfer of the month !

La Solo Chrono 650 est une course contre la montre autour de l’île de Groix. Mais cette compétition originale se dispute sur trois jours et le classement général s’établit au cumul des meilleurs temps de chaque skipper sur les trois journées de compétition.
