SeaSailSurfer of December 2008 : Michel Desjoyeaux
From last to 1st in the Vendée Globe

On December 3rd, Michel Desjoyeaux wasback in the top 10 of the Vendée Globe, 3 weeks after his second start from Les Sables d’Olonne. At the end of the month, he is the leader. Mich’Desj is the SeaSailSurfer of December.
Does Michel Desjoyeaux surprises us ? He left Les Sables d’Olonne on November 11 after a short pit-stop but 2 days behind the front runners of the Vendée Globe. On December the 3rd, he was back in the top ten (cf photo). On December 16th, Foncia’ skipper took the lead when Mike Golding was leaving the race, Ecover’s mast down. At the end of the year, The Professor is still leading. What Else ?

On said kitesurfing is not sailing. Other said the Luderitz Speed Challenge’ spot is not deep enough. But the channel in Namibia is a fixed place with 500 meters marks and is more than 80 cm deep. As the competition will be sailed aboard wingsailed catamarans, he made the trophy, and sport sailing competition, entering the third millenary. He is the SeaSailSurfer of the month. -

August 2010 was rich in events and performances. Many SeaSailSurfers made great performances. We will however retain Bertrand Delesne’s run in the second leg of race to the Azores. On his mini, he covered 304,90 miles in 24 hours. He is SeaSailSurfer of the month !

Les 50,57 noeuds d’Alexandre Caizergues réalisés début octobre deux jours après que Sébastien Cattelan a été le premier à passer la barre des 50 nœuds (50,26) vont bien être validés. C’est ce que vient de confirmer Claude Breton à la rédaction de SeaSailSurf.com ce lundi. -

Thomas Coville se relance autour du monde
Le maxi-trimaran Sodeb’O a franchi la ligne de départ du tour du monde en solitaire et en multicoque aujourd’hui mardi 18 novembre, quelques minutes avant 15 heures, exactement à 14 heures 54 minutes et 14 secondes, heure française. Le vent nord / nord - ouest soufflait entre 15 et 17 noeuds et le bateau avançait sous un ris trinquette. -
